Veterinary Physiotherapy is a specialised field that involves the prevention and therapeutic management of pain and gait abnormalities, recovery from injury or surgery, and maintenance of performance and health. Physiotherapy treatment aims to optimise the mobility, function, and overall quality of life for animals. Equi-9 Veterinary Physiotherapy is committed to delivering exceptional care and personalised treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each animal.
The Face Behind the Name
Amie Payne
BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy
Amie has always had a passion for animals, growing up with horses and dogs. Her spark for Veterinary Physiotherapy came about whilst rehabbing her own horse with sacroiliac joint dysfunction.
Equi-9 Veterinary Physiotherapy was founded by Amie in 2024 after graduating with a First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Amie is a member of the Institute of Registered Veterinary & Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP), a community of qualified professionals in animal therapy, ensuring every animal receives the best treatment, whilst supporting and informing their owners.
